SpikeGLX

SpikeGLX, written by Bill Karsh at HHMI Janelia Research Campus, is specifically designed for Neuropixels and can support at least 20 probes simultaneously. Special features for synchronization to other devices, calibration of the separate clocks on each head stage, and control of a variety of National Instruments PXI modules is available. It is available for free download. 

For background, requirements, application download, hardware drivers for the PXI devices, data post-processing for A/D sampling synchronization, map files for probe recording, description of metadata files, help, and How-to-videos for software and hardware.
